I am very proud to say we are an award winning, 2nd generation family owned studio. Furla Studio was established by my father in 1945 and was also one of the 1^st candid wedding photographers in the country. In 1978 I joined my father and became one of the youngest certified photographers at that time. Not only was I inducted into the Presidential Circle but have also earned 2 Fellowship degrees and numerous print awards. I continued in the tradition of my father whom always wanted to be amongst the 1^st. That is why we entered into the digital world of photography before it became a standard. We have always strived not to be followers but leaders and innovators in our industry. Our creative photographers know how to blend photojournalism and fashion with some traditional poses creating natural, intimate, edgy and fun images. The quality of our work is considered to be among the best in the industry. Not only has our work been published and featured in several national & local magazines, we have won more awards at the WEVA & PPA International conventions than any other studio in the Midwest. We also conduct seminars on a regional, national and international level and we were recently named one of the 25 most influential studios in the industry by EventDV magazine.
